1. Cucumber 

Ingredients

  • Cucumber slices  
  • A cup of water

Method 

Blend a handful of cucumber slices with the water until smooth then freeze in an ice tray or pour into your ice facial tool.

Method

Brew 1-2 green tea bags in boiling water. Once cooled, freeze into your ice trays or the ice facial tool.

Method

Mix the concentrated rose water into a small cup of water and freeze. Rose water is very expensive so I would only use a small amount.

Alternatively, mix a handful of fresh rose petals with a cup of boiling water. Once cooled, freeze.

Ingredients

1-2 bags of Chamomile tea

Method

Brew 1-2 bags of chamomile tea. Once cooled, freeze.

Method

Ingredients

1 cup of coconut milk 

Method

Pour the coconut milk into the ice cube tray or ice facial tool and freeze.

8. Turmeric

Ingredients 

1 tsp turmeric powder & a cup of warm water.

Method

Dissolve turmeric powder in warm water, and freeze.

Ingredients

1 lemon & a cup of cold water

Method

Squeeze the lemon juice into the cup of water, I like to slice the lemon and add it to my ice tool as well.

Benefits

Lemon juice contains citric acid, which has natural brightening properties and tightens skin pores. However, lemon can be acidic, so it’s essential to use it with caution, especially if you have a sensitive skin type.

Ingredients

A handful of mint leaves & a cup of cold water water.

Method

Crush the mint leaves, mix with the water, and freeze.

Benefits

Mint leaves can help to tone the skin naturally and refresh and revitalise tired skin. It is also beneficial as it increases the blood circulation to your skin preventing fine lines.

Ingredients

Handful of basil leaves & a cup of cold water

Method

Crush the basil leaves and mix with the water. Then freeze into your ice cube trays or ice facial tool.

Benefits

Basil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in vitamin C. This will add brightness to the skin. Apply to the area in a circular motion.
